About Anne

I view the therapeutic process as collaborative, respectful and empowering. My role as a psychotherapist is to meet clients where they are with non-judgment and compassion.  An individual journey of self-discovery, healing and growth can be challenging, I am here to guide that process by providing tools, expertise and support necessary to move forward. I believe in the possibility of lasting positive change and have helped many clients shift to new and profoundly hopeful next stages of life.

I have a solid base in traditional psychotherapy with a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of California- Los Angeles.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Minnesota and have been working in the field of mental health since 2003.

I have comprehensive experience working as a psychotherapist in both private practice and outpatient mental health clinics. I have worked with individuals, couples, families and groups using a wide variety of interventions based on specific therapeutic needs and desired outcomes.

I have training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Depression, Anxiety and Eating Disorder Treatments, Perinatal Mood and Thought Disorders, as well as Grief, Loss and Trauma.  I use a wholistic approach to treatment and incorporate the mind/body connection to support healing and recovery.
