While my practice includes psychotherapy working with both women and men I also specialize in treating women with pregnancy and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.  I am confident women benefit greatly from emotional support throughout pregnancy and after children are born. Many women struggle psychologically during pre and post partum periods without knowing who to talk to or even that it is okay to ask for help. I help women understand their emotional needs related to perinatal health and support them during the the many transitions related to parenthood.

I provide perinatal education and support related to the postpartum adjustment process. My approach is holistic and as such I am happy to provide referrals and resources for mothers and families to support the healing process. My relationships extend to health professionals throughout the Twin Cities such as: Physicians, Midwifes, Doulas, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and Massage Therapists.

I provide assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic interventions to support healing and recovery. Treatment can be short term or longer depending on the needs of mom and the family.

You are not to blame for the symptoms you are experiencing, and it is not a reflection of your ability as a mother or father. Connection and support will eleviate these very treatable symptoms.
